We draw
on 14 years experience in the insurance market in broking,
underwriting and loss adjusting roles dealing with every class
of business transacted in Malta, including re-insurance. Having
previously formed part of a claims department, we are able
to identify and satisfy your needs in a direct and comprehensive
manner.
Our services
are available 24/7 to enable us attend on site as soon as
possible and collect as much information as possible in the
early stages of the loss.
We will:
Attend on site as soon as is practicable
Recommend any action required of the policy-holder to them
directly
Identify action necessary to reduce and contain the damage
to property and business where applicable
Agree action and documents required of the policy holder
Guide the policy-holder through the action required as necessary
Appoint any specialist consultants as may be required on your
behalf
Provide you with a Preliminary Advice giving brief description
of the event and an opinion on policy liability
Estimate a Provisional Reserve
Send you a Preliminary Report including photographs
Correspond with your policy-holder and third parties if applicable
Collect documentary evidence of the quantum of the claim
Consider the amounts claimed in comparison with market costs
Confirm policy-holders’ entitlement in accordance with the
terms of the policy
Explain entitlement to policy-holder
Obtain confirmation of acceptance of the recommended settlement
Secure subrogation of the policy-holder’s right on the subject
matter
Recommend settlement which in our opinion should be paid to
the policy-holder in the terms of the insurance contract
Pursue recovery of your outlay where applicable
Keep you updated of significant developments throughout the
above process
Where we consider that policy liability is not engaged, we
will inform you and then repudiate the claim on your behalf.
